Portland, OR - December 10, 2025 - The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) today announced the release of IntelliCAD 14.1.

This update to the IntelliCAD 14 platform emphasizes stability and performance, delivering several new features and many fixes requested by ITC members.

IntelliCAD 14.1 introduces export and print to geospatial PDF, so users can generate PDFs that include coordinate system information from their drawings. When opened in supported PDF viewers, users can see live coordinates and measurements while reviewing designs. The GEO map feature now supports Microsoft® Azure® Maps, in addition to the existing providers. Exporting large raster images to PDF has also been improved.

The update introduces a new block test window for advanced blocks, making it easier to check grips and behavior without leaving the Block Editor. Tool Palettes now support images, leaders, and external references, and users benefit from small but useful improvements, such as a Selection Cycling toggle on the status bar, enhanced undo/redo functionality, and several usability improvements when working with tables.

For LISP users and developers, IntelliCAD 14.1 adds support for compiled and protected LISP applications in FAS and VLX formats, along with enhancements and fixes to the LISP and IcARX development tools. BIM users have better control over how openings interact with walls, and IFC import is more robust. Native DGN support also has targeted enhancements for exporting, printing, and hatching.

Under the hood, IntelliCAD 14.1 includes many fixes that improve reliability in everyday drafting, printing, snapping, external references, tables, and more.

Shawn Lindsay, President of the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium, stated:
“Following soon after IntelliCAD World 2025 this fall, IntelliCAD 14.1 continues our technical focus on stability, performance, and targeted improvements driven directly by member feedback. The release introduces useful new features like geospatial PDF creation and an improved block editor, along with incremental fixes in core areas such as LISP, BIM, and DGN. The result is a solid platform that members rely on for expanding their products.”
