IntelliCAD Technology Consortium Enforces IP Rights in China

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IntelliCAD Technology Consortium Prevails in Lawsuit, Successfully Enforces Rights in China

Portland, OR – September 18, 2025 – The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) announced today that it has successfully enforced its contractual and intellectual property rights in recent litigation against Shanghai Erow Information Technology Co., Ltd. The US-based adjudicator issued a final decision in favor of ITC, ordering the Chinese company to pay ITC restitutionary money damages.

Because Shanghai Erow failed to comply with the adjudicator’s order, ITC initiated proceedings in Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court. Considering ITC’s enforcement efforts, Shanghai Erow eventually complied with the order by remitting the monetary damages, interest, and enforcement fees and costs to ITC.

“These decisions and efforts affirm the importance of enforcing our membership agreements and intellectual property rights globally,” said ITC president, Shawn Lindsay. “Our members collectively invest significant resources in IntelliCAD, and we will continue to protect that investment by ensuring fair and consistent compliance with our rules and intellectual property rights.”
