ITC Files Lawsuits Against JyaCAD and Shanghai Erow

intellicad_logo_black_1700x850April 30, 2024 — PORTLAND, OREGON — CAD software-maker The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) filed suit today against Indian company JyaCAD Solutions Private Limited (JyaCAD) and its parent company, Scanpoint Geomatics Limited (Scanpoint), alleging breach of contract and seeking an order to compel JyaCAD and Scanpoint to participate in an audit of its software and to pay the ITC over $50,000. The ITC also filed suit against Chinese company Shanghai Erow Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Erow) for breach of contract, an order compelling Shanghai Erow to allow the ITC to audit its software, and to pay the ITC over $35,000.

ITC President David Lorenzo stated, “ITC members have invested millions of dollars and hundreds of man years in IntelliCAD which JyaCAD and Shanghai Erow entered into contracts with the ITC in order to have special access to and use of IntelliCAD. The ITC is committed to taking all action necessary to protect its intellectual property against those who intentionally breach their contracts with the ITC.”
