Ready for more CAD in the new year? Just-released CMS IntelliCAD 11.1 includes all the new features found in the IntelliCAD 11.1 engine, focusing on new commands and abilities in dimensioning, blocks, and tables. More features throughout the program also include turning live sectioning on/off, aligning model space entities in layout viewports with entities in paper space or other model space viewports, drawing facet model helices, extracting isolines, custom paper sizes for .pc3 files, and more. 

ActCAD 2023 Prime, Professional, and Standard versions are now available based on the IntelliCAD 11.1 engine. Available with all the features and improvements found in IntelliCAD 11.1 — released just last week to ITC members — the new version highlights custom paper sizes for .pc3 files, new table features, and the following commands: QDIM, CENTERLINE, CENTERMARK, DIMSPACE, ALIGNSPACE, BLOCKREPLACE, QUICKWBLOCK, BLOCKTOXREF, SURFEXTRACTCURVE, and LIVESECTION. Carlson Software just released its Carlson 2023 product line. A brief roundup of new features and enhancements: Carlson Survey supports multiple centerline files and GNSS base point adjustments, Carlson Civil contains improved 3D design tools, Carlson Point Cloud includes improved color edge identification, and Carlson Hydrology delivers enhancements to HydroNET and GIS features. ActCAD 2023 Map Drafter is a new product that helps designers produce and deliver digital maps. It includes all the 2D drafting and design features you would expect, plus image calibration, local language text features, map view and flow directions, profiles, image markers, map cleanup, ESRI shape export, and much more.

The new version of ENDUROCADD® from BlueScope Steel includes full 3D visualization of light gauge steel models and produces detailed site drawings to show how to install the BlueScope Steel ENDUROFRAME® system. BlueScope Steel started using the IntelliCAD engine in November 2021, and they plan to continue expanding ENDUROCADD functionality in the coming months.
