The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) today announced the release of IntelliCAD Mobile Platform 1.2.1 for ITC Mobile SIG members.

IntelliCAD has always — since its first release twenty years ago — been based on technology that is now governed and advanced by the Open Design Alliance (ODA). In the beginning the focus was on .dwg, but over the years, both technologies have seemed to outgrow their initial aim on replicating the .dwg file format (ODA) and replicating its end-user capabilities (ITC).

It's free! In addition to mobile devices, ETOOLBOX Mobile CAD Viewer now works on Microsoft® Windows® desktops. Get the CAD viewer at the ETOOLBOX website and start viewing .dwg, .dxf, .dwf and .dae files without having to upload your files.

Today at IntelliCAD World we heard about the advancements in IntelliCAD for mobile devices. IntelliCAD Mobile is available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android with a possibility of Linux in the future. You can view .dwg, .dwt, and .dxf drawing files; .dwf files; .dae COLLADA files; ACIS files; and images (.png, .jpeg, .tiff, etc.). Also, coming soon is support for .dgn drawing files.

ZWCAD 2017 was recently reviewed by Simon Martin, a product designer experienced in rapid prototyping and instructional design. The review details ZWCAD's speed of opening files, new features, familiar interface, and options for file management.
